Dave Maunsell
Chief Executive Officer

Dave is an accomplished executive with a keen business sense for the application of emerging solutions.

Prior to joining Haventec, Dave spent ~20 years at Accenture where he occupied a number of geographic leadership, account leadership and delivery leadership roles.

Prior to joining Accenture Dave spent five years at the ASX as the Internet and Information Security Lead.

Edora David
Operations Manager & CoSec

Edora is an accomplished operations leader with a Bachelor of Business Management and Human Resources. She joined Haventec in its early stages and has experience in operational roles across HR, finance, legal and strategic projects.

Edora’s career spans the public and private sector at ANZ Bank, Carsguide, and working alongside an Australian Prime Minister and Senior Ministers.

Edora thrives in fast-paced roles working alongside motivated teams, building relationships, coaching and mentoring.

Simon Carlson
Director of Presales

Simon brings over 20 years IT experience for a mix of tier-1 security vendors, leading system integrators and large organisations. During his career, Simon was involved in major network design projects at the Sydney Olympic games, Formula 1, Defence, in addition to banking and financial organisations.

Most recently, Simon was the Sales Engineering Manager for a leading IAM vendor and specialised in identity solutions for large enterprises.

Mikhael Chammaa
Marketing Director
Mikhael is an experienced marketing executive focused on demand generation and growth strategies for technology companies seeking to scale.

Before joining Haventec, Mikhael occupied customer experience and marketing leadership roles at prominent Australian IT and Cyber Security companies including Shearwater Solutions and CyberCX.
Kylie Martin
Project Management Office Manager
Kylie is a talented Project Manager with a strong capacity to provide comprehensive support and guidance for projects and processes for effective business operations.

With over 20 years’ experience in both public and private sectors, Kylie has a proven track record of success leading programs and projects that deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet organisational goals.
Gopal Arun
Head of Engineering and Delivery

Gopal Arun has 20+ years of experience aligning technology with business objectives. 

Prior to joining Haventec, Gopal had served various enterprise companies, including Honeywell, Macquarie Group and Telstra, where he was responsible for devising and delivering software engineering products. Gopal boasts a well-rounded skill set, with expertise in software engineering, product management, testing, and project management.

Patents

Haventec’s internationally patented cyber security technology is the key to securing your critical data and credentials.

We know that organisations can struggle to contain security issues while supporting individual people’s access to important systems and participation in financial transactions.

We use proprietary implementations of established technology frameworks including:

  • Transport Layer Security (TLS) – key pair implemented with PIN.
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) – control of your own data and your privacy.
  • Blockchain – removing the need logins, passwords and central ID stores for network security management.

Authenticate

Authenticate uses TLS in a novel way: new users must first nominate something they know, e.g. a PIN. This PIN is never stored anywhere. The PIN is used to deconstruct a private key into a delta of the key. The user’s device is registered into the system with the encrypted delta of the private key. Authenticate then requires the encrypted delta from the device, the server side public key and the PIN for a successful authentication.

Sanctum

Sanctum also uses the Authenticate key system, but this time it allows the user to securely store their sensitive data  on their device. In a credit card transaction, for example, the Sanctum key generation allows a merchant access to process the credit card information without need the merchant to store the user’s credit card details, eliminating their PCI related risks and costs.
